As a DJ, I realized that I could deliver a message to people not only through the music I play but also through the outfits I wear.
So I thought, "Alright, for every new gig, I’m going to wear a new t-shirt and it better be good, it better be something!" After a couple of gigs, people started asking, "Hey Holger, where are you getting these awesome t-shirts?" I’d answer, "I make them myself, of course." Then they'd say, "Can you make something for me too?" Sure! I’d tell them, "Take a look at my virtual shop—maybe you’ll find something there." And that’s how it all started. P.S. None of the designs you see here are mass-produced.

“Nothing is original. Steal from anywhere that resonates with inspiration or fuels your imagination. Devour old films, new films, music, books, paintings, photographs, poems, dreams, random conversations, architecture, bridges, street signs, trees, clouds, bodies of water, light and shadows. Select only things to steal from that speak directly to your soul. If you do this, your work (and theft) will be authentic. Authenticity is invaluable; originality is non-existent. And don’t bother concealing your thievery – celebrate it if you feel like it. In any case, always remember what Jean-Luc Godard said: “It’s not where you take things from – it’s where you take them to."
